Trevor Murdoch’s recent released surprised everyone in the WWE locker-room, including Smackdown Head writer Michael Hayes. Hayes was the one who requested for Murdoch to be drafted to Smackdown. He wanted to use Murdoch in a tag team with MVP, which would produce a lot of comedy between the two. But Hayes only found out about Murdoch’s release when an internal memo was circulated about his departure. Still no news on why he was released.
