Hey everybody I am back with my thoughts on last night's Raw. I was sorta disappointed with the tournament but it was ok. It turned out good anyway.

Today I will NOT be going over the promos, just the matches except the parody match. Raw kicked off with a first round KOTR match between Chris Jericho and MVP. This was an amazing match with plenty of excitement and action. This one could really have went either way, as both of them are very talented in the ring. Chris Jericho won after he countered a Playmaker into the Walls of Jericho. That was the move of the night but what really matters is the match of the night, but we'll see if this one makes it.

The second match was another first round match between CM Punk and Matt Hardy. Just like the first one, this was exciting and amazing. Lots of back and forth action and at one point it looked like Matt Hardy would go to the semifinals but "Mr. Money in the Bank" won. This match also has a good chance of being the match of the night.

The next first round match featured Finlay taking on The Great Khali. This match just plain sucked. Finlay is one of the best workers in WWE and he shouldn't have to keep wrestling Khali, he should wrestle someone alot more talented. The Great Khali needs to be released and WWE needs to hire more people that can actually put on a good match. Finlay won after The Great Khali got disqualified.

If it wasn't for The Great Khali/Finlay match, the next one would be the worst of the night. William Regal wrestled Hornswoggle. This match went no longer than 45 seconds. Regal won after a Regal Stretch on Hornswoggle. I just hated this match but it started the story of Regal having an advantage in his matches.

The next match was a regular match with Carlito taking on Hardcore Holly. This was just the usual Hardcore Holly/Carlito match with Carlito prevailing. In my opinion, this match was the bathroom break but it was pretty good.

The next match was a KOTR semifinal match with CM Punk taking on Chris Jericho. This was a great match, but not as good as Jericho's first match. Lots of back and forth action. This was a very interesting match. Both of these men had a very good chance of advancing, so I was really interested in seeing who was going to the finals. CM Punk beat Jericho in a very good match.

The next semifinals match was between Regal and the injured Finlay. I had a good idea of who was going to win but this wasn't as good of a match as it could've been. Both men can put on a good long match and both are technically sound. This was basically a longer version of Regal's first match and Regal once again won with the Regal Stretch.

The next match was the parody match but i am not going to give my thoughts on it. The match after that was the finals between CM Punk and William Regal. I really thought Punk would win to continue his push but this was once again a longer version of Regal's first match but this was still pretty good. After about 3-5 minutes Regal won with the Regal Stretch to become the 2008 King of the Ring. I'm really interested too see if Regal will be doing a "king" gimmick. It would be perfect for him since he's already the GM of Raw.

Then it was time for the main event. It was slow at first but it heated up and got more exciting. I actually thought the faces would win this match but Edge speared Kane for the win. This was an exciting match but I don't think it was good enough to be named the match of the night, even though it's always good to see The Brothers of Destruction tag together again.

Well that's it for today. I'll be back tomorrow for my thoughts on tonight's ECW.
