Ok, in all honesty, I didn’t get to see RAW, because I had to work so I have no real grounds to complain. But after reading the recap, I was kind of glad I didn’t get to see it. The first thought in my head was what are they thinking? I don’t’ understand what the ultimate point of the tournament was. There was a couple of good matches and then Regal squashing everyone, when they are obviously more talented then him. I just have yet to figure out the point of pushing a guy who does not even wrestle every week, but maybe nest week I will understand it better. Anyway, Backlash is coming up on Sunday, and I am still on the fence as to whether I should order it or not. It is not a predictable one either; I think a lot of the storylines are kind of lost and could go a variety of different ways. So it’s going to be hard but I am sure going to try to call the matches.

12 Diva Tag Team Match
Lets start with the girls. This match was really just thrown in there because they have to involve the divas in one match at every pay per view. I am not going to lie, I was surprised when Mickie won the championship on RAW, because it seemed like they wanted to push the less experienced girls like Maria and Ashley. With so many people involved in this match it will be really back and forth but that works out for the faces because most of them are the least experienced divas. Mickie needs to validate her win over the Glamazon so the faces should win.
Winners: Mickie James, Maria, Ashley, Cherry, Kelly Kelly, and Michelle McCool

Big Show vs. Great Khali
I am not as down on this match as a lot of other people are. We all have to face the facts, Khali is a horrible performer but they are never going to fire him because the millions of people in India watch WWE to see him. So if he has to fight someone he should fight another big guy like him and Big Show is a good enough performer to carry him. It’s a toss up but I am going to go with Big Show on this one.
Winner: Big Show

US Championship Match
Matt Hardy vs. MVP
This is defiantly going to be one of the best matches of the night. But there is usually only one title change a night, and I am hoping and praying that will be the WWE championship. So as much as I want Matt to win I think MVP will beat him this time with Matt winning the rematch at Judgment Day.
Winner: MVP

ECW Championship Match
Kane vs. Chavo Guerrero
In every feud the person that gets beat down on TV wins at the pay per view, which means Kane, is going to win, possibly by DQ? I see an Extreme Rules match in their near future.
Winner: Kane

World Heavyweight Championship Match
Edge vs. The Undertaker
These two guys have been going back and forth so I can’t use the same analogy that I just did for Kane and Chavo. But even though Edge is the top heel in the WWE right now, Taker deserves a good long title run.
Winner: Undertaker

Batista vs. Shawn Michaels
This will be the match of the night, without any doubt. But if their feud continues I am scared that Shawn will be moved to Smackdown in a draft which I DO NOT want to happen. Therefore, this has to end here, and with Jericho as referee possible a feud can spark between him and HBK.
Winner: Shawn Michaels

Fatal Four Way Elimination Match
Randy Orton vs. JBL vs. John Cena vs. HHH
I was actually better with this when it wasn’t an elimination match because Triple H could have won and Orton could have argued that he couldn’t beat him one on one and then we could have went from there. But the small fact of it being an elimination match complicates things. I still think HHH needs to win here, because I don’t see JBL or Cena winning and I am freaking tired already of the “Age of Orton”.
Winner: Triple H

To end it out, all I have to say is that, you guys are the creative department need to show me were you’re headed, because I am not getting it.

Until then so long from beyond the ropes.
